The game was received extremely well by players, with a review score of 89% on Metacritic and 9/10 on Steam.
As the game is open-ended, players can decide which quests and objectives to take on, which in turn will develop certain skills within their character. Set in an open-world environment on an island called Vvardenfell within Morrowind, players are given a character who has just been released from prison, which they can customise in regards to attributes such as name, class and skill set.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, an action RPG, is the third edition in the Elder Scrolls series and was first released on 1st May 2002.
